He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martin Slovak and Agnes Slovak (Hudecek); his wife Mary Ann Sysel; his children, Joanne Snyder (Doug), Catherine Shelnick (Jeff) and Robert Slovak (Monica); and his siblings, Dick Slovak, Marty Slovak (Angie) and Carol Jakubec (Richard). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren.
Visitation with Social Distancing guidelines will be from 2-4 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2020, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio or The Toledo Northwern Ohio Food Bank.
