He is survived by: his sister Velda Brehm; his sons, Lawrence P. Ackerman (Regina) and Steven L. Ackerman; his grandchildren, Crystal Estep (John), Michelle Abraham, Keith Ackerman, Steven Ackerman, Rachel Ackerman and Sarah Ackerman; and his great grandchildren, Lily Abraham, Riley Abraham, Brett Ackerman, Jordan Estep and McKenzie Estep.
