We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 93, Leon Heinl of Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Heinl and Evelyn Heinl (Welch); and his sisters, Patricia Hilt (George) and Molly Wheils. He is survived by: his children, Linda Ziemke (Phil) and David Heinl (Kyle); his grandchildren, Jen (Arron), Laura (Corey), David (Mollie) and Cole (Gabriella); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Amelia and Lydia; and his parents-in-law, Verlyn Duncan (Roy) and Betty Honisko (Jim). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family will have private services.
In lieu of flowers. Memorial Contributions may be given to Landings of Oregon, Elara Caring Hospice, or a charity of choice.
