He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Shoffer and Marilyn Shoffer (Fingerhut); his wife Dawn; his sons, Matthew (Jenni) and Jay Shoffer; and his brothers, Jeff (Kathleen), Scott (Mary) and James Shoffer (Sally).

Memorial donations are suggested ty either the Toledo Zoo or the Chabad House of Greater Toledo.
