He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Taylor and Joanna Taylor; his sister Norma Jean; and his former wife Carol Colling. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother Ronald Taylor (Bonnie); his daughters, Danette Petry (Ken) and Toni Feltman (Mike); his grandchildren, Tiffani Dutridge (Aaron), Erika Petry, Will Feltman (Abby Heldt) and Leilani Feltman; and his great grandchildren, Chase Dutridge, Kaylee Huddleston and Dagney Dutridge.

Remembrances may be made to Ebeid Hospice, the United States Navy Memorial or a wildlife charity of choice.
