He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his siblings, Bobby Sumner and Ruby Turk of Patricia Dutcher; his brother-in-law Jim Poling; and his granddaughter Cindy Sumner.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Sumner, Kim Sumner, Tina Rutkowski (Duane) and Tommy Sumner (Kandy); his siblings, Ron Sumner (Debbie), John Sumner (Irene) and Fran Poling; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Turk and John Dutcher. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
