He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lorenzen and Mary Lorenzen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lorenzen (O'Neill); his brother James Lorenzen (Mary Ann); his sister-in-law Geraldine Wertenberger (late Gordon); his children, Samantha Lorenzen Keen (Ed), Debra Lorenzen (Don) and Thomas Lorenzen (Betsy); his grandchildren, Carolina, Phoebe and Zachary; and his sibling's children, Diane Long, Amy Curtis, Skot Rose and Matt Lorenzen.

In lieu of flowers, per Rick's wishes, any donations are to be made out to the Toledo Humane Society or Elara Caring Hospice.
