We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2020, at the age of 63, Richard J. Nelson D. of Toledo, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nelson and Donna Nelson (Bracken); his brother Andrew; and his brother-in-law Deacon Dave Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Nelson (Renders); his daughter Teresa Knoll (John); his siblings, Donald (Li-Chiu), Bruce, Janet Lawrence, Douglas, Kelly Bonar (Jerry), Andrea Best (Tom), Kathleen Blaney (Jim), John (Laurie) and Robert (Allison); and his mother-in-law Charlotte Renders. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Radio, St. Joan of Arc School or St. Francis de Sales High School.
