He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ashba and Ellen Ashba (Kaucher). He is survived by: his wife Karen Wyatt Church; his children, Brett Ashba (Julie), Beth Van Dyke (Pete) and Matt Ashba (Mee-Mee); his stepchildren, Cory Church (Lori), Tim Church and Chris Church; his grandchildren, Evan Ashba, Jacob Ashba, Aubrey Ashba, Jackson Van Dyke, Shawn Church (Baylee), Kelsey Church, Maryam El-Meniawi, Sarah Gilbert, Hannah El-Meniawi, Stephanie Williams (Jordan), Stephen Church (Nicole) and Eryn Church; his siblings, Jo Ann Hall (Ramon) and Mark Ashba (Lisa); and his close friend Gene Novak (Pat).
