He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Scott and Robert Eugene Scott Sr.. He is survived by: his brother Charles Scott; his wife Sherry Scott; his son Peter Scott (Breecie); and his stepchildren, Tann Martens (Elizabeth), Raymond Martens (Becky) and Stacy Thomas (Matt). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He passed from complications of Parkinson's disease.
