He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Sr. Mynihan and Jane M. Mynihan (DeCola); and his wife Connie. He is survived by: his son David; his siblings, Patricia Mynihan and William Mynihan (Linda); his daughter-in-law Kristina Yglesias; his grandchildren, Katelynn Candella (Phillip) and Jeremiah Yglesias; and his brother-in-law James Slee (Donna). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
