He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sorgenfrei and Marie Sorgenfrei; his wife Evelyn Pilz; and his sister Elaine. He is also survived by his sons as well as eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
