He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nita and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his son Richard Desautels (Nancy); his grandchildren, Lindsay Shoemaker (Luke) and Allison Schuurman (Colin); his great grandchild Hana Shoemaker; his sister Lucille Allen; and also Midland Ross Surface.
