He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Szareko; his brother Dale Szarejko; and his brother-in-law Mike Perfetti The. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Szareko; his sons, Ron Szareko and Steven K. Szareko; his grandson Noah Quintero; his siblings, Richard Szarejko, Greg Szarejko (Barb), Dan Szarejko (Sally) and Donna Perfetti; and his sister-in-law Jane Szarejko. He is also survived by wife of 50 years and eldest son.
