She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley J. Gibson; her brother Kenneth Mummert; her siblings-in-law, Mary Mummert and Duane Stahl; and her friend Marie Sherer.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy Gibson (Diane), Rick Gibson (Teresa), Scott Gibson (Beth), Stanley Gibson (Deborah) and Georgianne Campbell (Bill); and her siblings, Jackie Stahl, George Mummert and Helen Mummert.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to St. Hyacinth Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
