He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Steinke and Helen Steinke (Stein); his wife Maria Steinke (Schmidt); his children, Lisa Smith (Ivan), Julie Fandrey (Michael), Thomas (Cathy) and David Steinke (Stephanie); and his siblings, Diana Steinke-Simmons and Carl Steinke.
