He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn Louise Wagner; his daughters, Susan Arlene Gahler, Sabrina Lynn Hoffman (Jeffrey) and Sandra Anne Perrine (James); his stepchildren, Debbie Santogrossii (Dan), Harold Yoder (Linda), Valery Anderson (Mark) and Jodi Shaw (Scott); his parents, Russell William Wagner, Sr. and Dorothy Fanny Wagner; and his siblings, Ronald Franklin Wagner, Richard Gary Wagner, Russell William Wagner, Jr. (Vivian), Linda Lee Holder (Mike) and Gary Edward Wagner (Chellie). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Any memorial contributions should be made to Ohio Living Hospice or a charity of the donors choice.
