She was predeceased by: her parents, Junius R. Smith Sr. and Lillie Maybell Bruton; and her stepmother Lillian Smith. She is survived by: her daughters, Alvertina Smith (Nikki) of Toledo, OH and Vanessa Jones (Vernon) of Toledo, OH; and her brothers, Junius Smith Jr. (Ross) of Columbus, OH and Paul R. Hurst. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
