He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rankin and Patricia Rankin; his brother Ethan Rankin; his uncle John Rankin; and his nephew Thomas Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Angela D. Rankin (Robinson); his children, Adrian Rankin of Cincinnati, Amirra Rankin, Allen Rankin of Trotwood and LeRae Anthony of Dayton; his granddaughter Leila Perkins; his parents-in-law, Ruthie Sanford of Dayton, OH and Robert Turner of Dayton; his sisters, Pamela Paschal (Stacy) of Eden Prairie, LaVerne Simpson and Denise Rankin of Columbus; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Rankin of Englewood, Charlene Plump (CJ), Kimberly Norsworthy of Dayton, John Robinson (Bernice), Robert Norsworthy and Mark Norsworthy of Dayton; his siblings' children, Shay Rankin of Chicago, IL, Briana Nelson of Ft. Worth, Berek Rankin of Sarasota, FL, Jeremy Rankin of Englewood, Lawrence Rankin, Kevin Rankin and William Rankin of Columbus; and his close friends, Travis Mack and Lonnie Rembert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
