He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice K. Pickering; his wife Norma L. Pickering (Spitler); and his siblings, Frank Stapleton and Charlyne Stapleton Chappell. He is survived by: his children, Jon M. Pickering of Troy and Tara L. Babb (Donald) of Xenia; his grandchildren, Joshua Pickering (Laurie), Shayla Babb and Marissa Babb; his great grandchildren, Gavin Pickering, Gavin Schaare, Aubree Schaare and Bailey Nicole Ball; and his sister Donna Powers of Ashland, KY..
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home (555 N Market St, Troy, OH 45373). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at the Miami Memorial Park (7875 N Crescent Rd, Covington, OH 45318).
