We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2020, at the age of 90, Richard Benning (Troy, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emerson E. Benning and Ada Benning (Ward); his wife Norma Jean Benning (Pour); his son Ronald E. Benning; his grandson Robert W. Preston; and his sisters, Thelma Petersen, Norma Denney and Dorothy Arnett.

He is survived by : his children, William Benning of Troy, OH, Linda Oliver (Gregory), Debora Preston (Neil) of Ashville, OH and Christina Moos (Bradley) of South Vienna, OH; and his close friend Nellie McMaster of Kettlersville, OH. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 409 East Main Street, Troy, OH 45373 or Hospice of Miami County, P. O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
