He was predeceased by : his parents, William Gura and Agnes Gura; and his siblings, Charles (Andrea), Nora (Robert), Robert (Roberta) and William (Joann).

He is survived by : his wife JoAnn; his children, Dawn Larsen (Hans) and Ron (Lucy); his grandchildren, Derek, Ryan, Amanda and Danielle; and his great grandchild Emberlea.
