He was predeceased by : his brother Michael Salzinger (Laura Fox) of Twinsburg; and his parents, Alvin Salzinger and Nancy Salzinger. He is survived by : his sister Lisa Martel (Patrick) of Solon; and his nieces and nephews, Laura, Rebecca, Jennifer, David, Melissa Martel and Alex Salzinger.

He was looking forward to joining the Temple-Tifereth Israel choir when the COVID-19 pandemic ended.
