He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Francisco Montes and Leticia Dolores Montes (Calderon); his brother Humberto Montes; and his nephew Anthony. He is survived by: his brothers, Luis Montes (Iris), Orlando Montes (Mary) and Oscar Montes (Brenda); his siblings' children, Letty, Caroline, Alicia, Gabriel, Victor, Daniel, Orlando, Radames, Leah, Timothy Vasquez and Angel; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Giselle, Zion, Anton, Danielle, Lincoln, Nolan, Levi, Jasmine, Joshua, Luke, Claudio, Tishaa, Janette and Tikari.
