It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Isaac Moxley Sr. (Urbana, Ohio), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Clifton had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Clifton may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Cooper Moxley Sr. and Marie Moxley (Bennett); his siblings, Herbert Cooper Moxley, Jr., Mary Ann Moxley, Frances Eiland Moxley and Rosemary Moxley Bighem; and his granddaughter Amber Stanhope.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Joe), Maryanna, Clifton Jr. and Chad (Mel); and his brothers, George and Thomas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great child.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter and Lewis Funeral and Cremation Center (642 S Main St, Urbana, OH 43078).
