Carlos Tyas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Tyas of Van Wert, Ohio, born in Paulding, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Tyas and Ethyl Tyas (Taylor); his brother Paul Landrum; and his brother-in-law Max Kreischer. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Kochenaur of Indiana, Janet Kreischer of Van Wert and Betty Tyas of Van Wert; his children, Doug Tyas of Van Wert, Cheryl Von Stripe (Kelly) of Defiance and Angie Bebout (Scott) of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Jamey Stripe (Sonya), Samantha Stripe (Alex Tiffany), Alyssa Bebout and Jaxon Bebout (Morgan); and his great grandchildren, Donovan, Dexter, Penelope Stripe, Addisyn Gottschalic, Avaeah Mezuk, Meredith and Waylon Bebout. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, good and loyal friends.
Attendees are required to observe social distancing, refrain from close physical contact, and wear facial coverings.
In lieu of flowers and in the spirit of giving, the family requests to honor their father by donating to the Van Wert Humane Society or to Disabled American Veterans.
