He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sheets and Josephine Sheets (Hurley); his sons, Dave Sheets Jr. and Dewayne Sheets; his aunts, Pat Bighaum and Nancy Hilton; and his grandparents, Clearance, Mary Ellen Hurley (Seeking), Clayton and Avis Sheets.
He is survived by: his son Jacob Sheets; his sister Kerry Brown (Scott); his aunts, Mary O'Daffer, Esther Hilten and Ethyl Reynolds; and his uncle Roy Hurley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory may be sent to Alspach-Gearahrt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
