He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Ruth Marie Mollenkopf (Potter); his son Jay Mollenkopf; and his siblings, David Mollenkopf, Linda Bower and Phyllis A. Gay.
He is survived by: his wife Susan K. Poling; his children, Lynn Johnson (Jeff) of Delphos, Cheryl Mollenkopf of Wren, Mary Jo Smith of Van Wert, Randy Olson (Pam) of Van Wert and Barry Olson of Van Wert; and his daughter-in-law Rhonda Mollenkopf of Byrdstown, Tennessee. He is also survived by Uncle Deano will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
