It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Kimmey (Van Wert, Ohio), born in Paulding, Ohio, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin Shaner and Edna Banks (Pate); her husband David Kimmey; her children, Michelle Gunter (Eric) of Van Wert and Doug Kimmey of New York, NY; her sister Ruth Morningstar of Uniopolis; her aunt Lillian Hall of Van Wert; her grandchildren, Gracie, Garett, Griffin Gunter, Andrew Kimmey and Zachary Kimmey; her son Michael Kimmey; and her brother Harold Shaner. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jan's family requests everyone who attends her visitation and service wear facial coverings to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
