She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Shook and Anna Shook (Rose); her husband Dwight E. Gardner; her adoptive parents, Loyal Shook and Kathryn Shook (Johnson); and her siblings, Edith August, Mary Donaldson, Wilbur, Clovis and Arthur Shook.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay Stephenson (Phyllis) of Scott and David Stephenson (Sherry) of Monroeville, Indiana; and her stepchildren, Connie Binton (Bob) of Manhiem, Ronald Gardner of Dublin, Dennis Gardner (Patti) of Holland and Marlene Martz (Gary) of Van Wert. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
