Leah Ries Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leah Ries of Van Wert, Ohio, who passed away on October 29, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford W. Summersett and Hazel Summersett (Pollock); her husband Wayne Ries; her son Stephen Ries; and her siblings, Warren Summersett and Esther Ley.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Knittle Jones (Tom) of Van Wert, Nancy Ries of Van Wert and Robert Ries (Becky Runser) of Van Wert. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Lincolnview Bible Board and Kingsley United Methodist Church through the funeral home.
