He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roy May, Sr. and Maxine May (Johnston); and his brother Freeman R. May. He is survived by: his son Seth Derrick May of Van Wert; his brothers, William R. May, Jr. of Van Wert, Mike May (Joelle) of Mississippi and Jeffrey May (Tammy) of Grover Hill; his stepmother Dorothy May of Van Wert; his stepbrother Michael Protsman of Van Wert; his sister-in-law Diana May of Van Wert; and his sons, Van Wert, Pastors Chuck Oliver and Soloman Okang. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
