The memory of Merva J. Callicoat of Vandalia, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin Selover and Katherine Selover (Smith); her husband Perry Callicoat; and her sisters, Wilma Walker and Sandy Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Callicoat (Sheila) and Shelley Penewit (Dale); and her grandchildren, Joel (Olivia), Micah (Angela), Kyli (Chris), Gabe, Tracy (Micah), Dean, Sam (Dana) and Matthew. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home (139 S Dixie Dr, Vandalia, OH 45377). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Merva to The Hospice of Dayton.
