She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pothast and Edith Pothast (Dickrede); her brother John Pothast; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Fortman and Larry D. Hall.
She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Zwiebel (Corey) of Wapakoneta; her grandchildren, Sydney Zwiebel of Cridersville, Jalyssa (Austen Rush) of Lima and Kalen Zwiebel of Wapakoneta; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Harper Collins of Cridersville and Jaxson; her sisters, Jeanette Fortman of Sagamore Hills, Ohio, Marceil Fisher (Tom) of Wapakoneta, Wilma Oen (Myron) of Troy, Ohio, Karen Shipley (Steve) of Robertsdale, AL and Joyce Hauenstein (Dave) of Lakeview, Ohio.; and her in-laws, Betty Pothast of Versailles, Dave of Wapakoneta, Kathy Wachauf of Wapakoneta, Joe of Wapakoneta, Pam Wachauf of Wapakoneta, Todd of Wapakoneta, Linda Gerstner of Wapakoneta, Chuck of Wapakoneta and Bev Wachauf of Wapakoneta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, their spouses, and children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory (1102 Lincoln Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (101 W Pearl St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
In lieu of flowers or memorial gifts, Norma requested that you make monetary donations in her memory to New Vision Nursing and Home Care or the Holy Face of Jesus to help those in need.
