Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home (728 E 4th St, Spencerville, OH 45887). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

“Richard was like a big brother to me since childhood. After his car accident his testimony became an inspiration to me and many others. Richard faced his challenges with great courage and after he accepted Christ his faith and love for life, showed in every area of his life. He will be dearly missed! Yet I rejoice in the hope of Christ as I will see him again! Richard is no longer bound to a wheelchair but happy, whole.and running freely in heavens glory! Hugs and prayers for the family”
