He is survived by : his children, Earl Waters (Anae) of Warren, Anthony Thornton of Loganville, GA., Holli Anderson of St. Louis, MO. and Crystal Turner (Jerry) of Jacksonville, FL.; and his brother Ralph C. Gray Sr. (Lorraine) of Chicago, IL.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives, and friends.
His battle with Alzheimer's disease in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
