The memory of Betty Jane Whiteside-Wise (Washington Court House, Ohio), who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Harry Lester and Betty Louise Archer (Moore); her daughter Gene Ann Moore; and her siblings, William "Bill" Archer, Delbert Archer, Robert Archer, Virginia Archer, Phyllis Archer, June Wise, Pat Gibson and Janet Holsinger.
She is survived by: her husband David Eugene Wise; her children, Anita Surritt (Andy), Tonya Seitz and Billy Whiteside (Jeanine); her brother James "Jimmy" Archer; and her granddaughter Nicole Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home (223 W Market St, Washington Court House, OH 43160). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Bloomingburg Cemetery (4299 OH-38, Bloomingburg, OH 43106).
