He was predeceased by : his parents, George, Sr. Funari and Ida Funari (Eresia); and his daughter Genifer Lynn Funari. He is survived by : his wife Dawn Mary Funari (Davis); his sons, Chris Funari (Dee) and Jeff Funari (Jessica); his grandchildren, Nicholas Funari (Makayla), Alexandra Funari and Emma Funari; and his siblings, Luke George (Lennox Jack Funari) and Lenora Funari. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of dear and special friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Community Church (525 Glenn Ave, Washington Court House, OH 43160). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Washington Cemetery.
