She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Winkle and Ona Hummon Winkle; her husband Richard Paul Kimmet; and her siblings, Robert, John, Richard Winkle and Grace Shively.

She is survived by : her children, Gregory Kimmet (Sheryl) of Greenfield, Diana Walton (Owen) of Grove City, Michael Kimmet (Donna) of Grove City, Beth Ann Snyder (Scott) of Washington, C. H., Phillip Kimmet of Columbus, Daniel Kimmet (Kay) of Washington, C. H., Brenda Kimmet (John Belles) of Washington, C. H. and Thomas Kimmet (Ashley) of Pataskala; and her brothers, David, Irvin and Kenneth Winkle. She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren; her twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Marilyns' name be made to the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church, 219 S. North Street, Washington C.H., Ohio 43160 and/or Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, #170, Columbus, Ohio 43231.
