He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Clay and Mary Clay (Mathews); the mother of his children Thelma Clay; and his siblings, Kenny, Arnold, Bob, Gary Clay and Wanda McCarty.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Clay; his children, Kari Lago (Cliff), David Clay, Kendra Sparkman (Randy) and Dan Clay (Angela); his stepchildren, Julie Wilson (Tom) and Jason Hill; his grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Katie, Danielle, Aimee, Tiffany, Levi, Zoee, Kalie, Alec, Beth, Abby and Thad; and his stepgranddaughter Natalie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Side Church of Christ (921 S Fayette St, Washington Court House, OH 43160). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the South Side Church of Christ, Good Hope Lions Club, or to Ohio's Hospice of Fayette County.
