He is survived by: his spouse Dolores Ann Holland; his children, Deborah M. Van Auker of Columbus, Diana Sue Correa of Tampa, FL and Robert Holland Melvin of Portland, OR; his grandchildren, Cameron Correa (Lisa Smith), Miranda Melvin, Devon Melvin and Stone Melvin; his sister Barbara Kellenberger; and his sister-in-law Mary Melvin of Sabina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
