She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Clay and Mary Matthews Clay; her former husband Mark Furniss; her brothers, Kenny, Gary, Arnold and Bobby Clay; her brother-in-law Charles Furniss; and her friend Karolyn Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest McCarty; her children, Lisa Furniss (Dwayne Beverly) of Greenfield and Andy Furniss (Brendon Sears) of Jeffersonville; her stepson Victor McCarty (Caroline) of Bowersville; her brother Ronald Clay (Judy) of Washington, C. H.; her sister-in-law Reba "Susie" Clay of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Rhea Gregory of Greenfield, Breahna George (Brett Sarven) of Fairborn and Jameson Furniss of Jeffersonville; her son Brian George (Karen) of Lynchburg; and her friend John Shaw of Washington, C. H..
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home (223 W Market St, Washington Court House, OH 43160). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the White Oak Grove Cemetery.
