She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William and Liza Jane Tackett; her husband John F. Rose; her daughter Cathy Marie Ison; her grandson Scotty Newman; and her siblings, Maxine Liggins, Buck Tackett, Cecil Tackett, Robert Tackett and Burley Tackett.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Newman (Glenn) of Columbus, Joyce Moore (Wendell) of Piketon, Shirley Carter (Larry) of Waverly, John F. Rose (Becky) and James H. Rose of Waverly; and her siblings, Harlen Tackett (Lavada), Rose Detty, Gloria Loel (Frank), Versie Butterbaugh and Chestine Walk (Mack) of Chillicothe. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
