It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Werling Sr. of Waynesfield, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Werling and Grace Werling (Jackson); his wife Gladys LaPoint; his granddaughters, Monica Werling and Sonya Kitzmiller; and his siblings, James Werling, Rhoda Underwood, Mary Louise Ring and Lois Daley.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Werling, Jr. (Diana) of Waynesfield, Neil Werling (Pam) of Waynesfield, Dale Werling (Lucinda) of Danville, IN, Robert Werling (Annette) of Harrod, Gary Werling (Becky) of Harrod and Ed Werling (Angie) of Waynesfield. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Attendance will be restricted at the funeral and visitation based on space to accommodate social distancing requirements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westminster Fire and Rescue Squad and/or Putnam County Hospice.
