He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Plaugher and Dorothea Plaugher (Burns); and his sister Carol Plaugher (Ellie Laing). He is survived by: his former wife Rita Mae Plaugher; his children, Teresa Griffith (Doug) of Lima, Tammy Boughan (Chuck) of Lima, Ed Plaugher (Susan) of Lima, Cathy Lauck (John) of Lima, Janet Burgett (Mike) of Guntown and Jim Plaugher (Nicole) of Lima; his grandchildren, Katelyn Miller, Jarvae Boughan, Trey Boughan, Sarah Kaufman, Tiffany Gray, Clint Strickland, Randy Plaugher, Whitney Kamm, Dustin Lauck, Charlie Patterson, Greg Patterson, Brittany Dickerson, Levi Plaugher and Megan Eutsler; and his brother Carl Plaugher of Tennessee. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
