She was predeceased by : her husband Jerry R. Friend; her parents, Roy Wallingford and Margaret Gilkison Wallingford; her son Ed Friend; her son-in-law Rick Burkitt; and her siblings, Irvin Wallingford, David Wallingford and Carolyn Moore.

She is survived by : her son Rob (Lisa); her siblings, Glenn Wallingford (Joyce) of Morrow, Richard Wallingford of Wilmington, Ohio and Darlene Dusing (Ron) of South Lebanon, Ohio; her grandchildren, Cassie, Jason (Angel), Amber, Crystal, Casey, Brandon, MaKayla and Logan; her great grandchildren, Jadon, Sebastian, Connor, Sofia, Jackson, Darrel, Jonathon, Gretchen, Julianna, William, Dominic, Leah, Easton, Elise, Layla, Iviee and Atlas; and her great great grandchild Da-Kai.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Homes (327 N South St, Wilmington, OH 45177). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
