He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Cooper (McManis); his siblings, Danny Cooper, Lloyd Cooper and Linda Cooper; and his grandson Thomas Jackson Durham.
He is survived by: his children, Jason L. Cooper (Lindsey) and Catherine K. Durham (Roy); his siblings, Floyd Cooper, Joyce "Jitter", Winnie, Brenda, Patty, Glenda, Phyllis and Carolyn; and his grandchildren, Matthew Durham, Noah Cooper and Elijah "Buzz" Cooper.
