He was predeceased by: his brother John Alford; and his grandparents, John, LaNeve Ellington and Arthur Stanley. He is survived by: his adoptive parents, Ron Alford of Houston, TX and Debbie Ellington; his stepfather Gary Lane of Lebanon, OH; and his stepsiblings, Kim Grieshop and Nathan Lane. He is also survived by 4 nieces, and several cousins.
