He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ervin; his parents, John Ervin and Louise Ervin (Bryant); and his siblings, Bill Ervin, John Ervin, Vernon Ervin, Ron Ervin, Helen Little and Jane Kunkle.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Eichelberger (Bill), Kelly Ervin and Kirk Ervin (Michelle); his sisters, Virginia Flora and Martha Collins; his siblings-in-law, Bob Stinnett and Penny Peterman; his grandchildren, Lisa Redford (Craig), Stephanie Eichelberger, Amanda Haakenson (Jay), Lyndsay Lemon (Brad), Seth Ervin, Caleb Ervin and Hannah Ervin; and his great grandchildren, Caden, Kenadie, Ashlyn, Elijah and Elizabeth Redford. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
