He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, James Peyton (Mary) and Greg Peyton (Kerri); his stepdaughters, Patti Cupp (John), Amy Lump (Mike) and Kim Cooper (Jim); and his siblings, Hugh 'Ed' Sermon (Sheila) and Linda Allen (Michael). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
